Piano LAB will do its very best to organise and facilitate the following recreative activities for all its participants:
- A recreative room with comfortable chairs / sofa, snacks and beverages
- A table tennis and / or foosball table
- Various outdoor sports activities
- Quiz night
- Excursion to Maastricht (The Netherlands)
Besides, the Alden Biesen site offers
- plenty of possibilities to go for a short or long walk
- a bicyle tour (requires a supplement fee paid by the participant)

The paths within the domain have been made accessible for wheelchair users and people with disabilities. With a few exceptions, most of the rooms on the domain, the moated castle and the church are already accessible, as is the walkway between the orchards.
