Programme Piano LAB 2024

13 July – Arrival day

Arrival of all participants between 13.30 and 14.30 hours on the site of the Grand Commandery Alden Biesen in Bilzen. Further on the agenda for that day:

  • Check-in
  • Meet and greet with all participants
  • Allocation of rooms and unpacking
  • Short tour of the site with all candidates
  • Meet and greet with the participants and the Piano LAB team
  • Dinner followed by a public opening concert by the faculty members of Piano LAB 2024

From 14 July up to 19 July – Piano lessons and workshops

  • A daily teaching programme of at least 1 hour for each candidate with one of the teachers.
  • Peer review concerts offered without any obligation
  • Guaranteed access to a personal practice room for each participant
  • Three joint meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and fruit snacks offered in between.
  • Sports- and recreation facilities/activities
  • At least two workshops for the participants
  • A joint excursion

20 July – Departure day

  • 9:00 – packing, check out rooms
  • Joint breakfast
  • 11:00 – closing concert by (a selection of) the participants
  • 12:30 – closing reception
  • 13:30 – farewell and departure
